Playtime At Castlecourt As Leading Toy Retailer Takes Key Anchor Location

BELFAST, 07 November 2016 - World-renowned toy retailer Toys “R” Us has taken up space in a key anchor unit within CastleCourt Shopping Centre in Belfast City Centre.

Toys “R” Us first moved into CastleCourt in September 2014 when they took a 6,000 sq ft unit. However, after seeing strong sales over the course of the last two years, they are moving into a unit that is nearly four times the size of the original – totalling around 23,000 sq ft, making them an anchor tenant within CastleCourt.

The extensive additional space in the new unit will see Toys “R” Us become a full service store with the full range of stock available across the Toys “R” Us range and the popular Babies “R” Us range.

In addition to being much larger the new unit is located in a key strategic part of the shopping centre – on the upper mall level and close to the entrance to the multi-storey car park. CBRE and Savills acted on behalf of CastleCourt whilst Mason Partners acted for Toys “R” Us.
